With the free plan, Runway gives you a one-time amount of 125 credits when you sign up. That’s enough for around 25 seconds of Gen-2 video, 8 seconds of Gen-1 video, or 25 image generations.

My Thoughts on Runway ML
I’ve used Runway quite a lot and even made two tutorials about it. The first one was on Act One, where you can restyle base footage of yourself into AI-generated content. That already felt powerful—but now with Act Two, it goes even further. It doesn’t just sync your mouth movements—it also captures your body posture, hand gestures, and overall motion. It’s honestly a very cool tool, and the results look surprisingly natural.
I also really like Runway Reference, especially for image consistency. It’s great for building a believable visual storyline where everything feels like it was shot on the same camera, in the same world. That kind of visual consistency is key in filmmaking—whether you’re aiming for a Hollywood vibe or your own unique style.
