My Thoughts on Pika Art
Pika Art was one of the first platforms where you could turn AI-generated images into videos—and that was a huge deal when it launched. My tutorial on it hit 300,000 views, and I think the reason is I really dug into how to create perfect input images—covering dynamic motion, color themes, consistency—that made turning them into videos seamless.
At the start of 2025 I made another tutorial about their Pikaframes feature, where you can add multiple images to tell a short visual story. That workflow is still amazing. Lately though I haven’t used Pika as much because it feels like it’s moving more into the space of fun social media content, which isn’t my main focus—my heart lies in cinematic, realistic AI filmmaking.
I’ve heard some good things about the newer models, and it seems like they’ve made solid progress. I haven’t tested them fully myself yet, but I’m definitely curious to dive back in and see how well it can fit into my AI filmmaking workflow.
