My Thoughts on Open Art
OpenArt has become one of my go-to platforms because it offers all the major AI image and video models in one place. What really makes it stand out for me is the image editor—it feels a lot like working in Photoshop. You can use layers, inpainting, background removal, upscaling, and more, all in a smooth, creative workflow. I also find the consistent character tool especially useful when working on visuals across multiple scenes.
I even made a video where I combined OpenArt’s image editor with Runway ML’s video restyle feature. The idea was to take advantage of OpenArt’s strong editing tools—like inpainting, layering, and background cleanup—and then bring that image into Runway to transform it into a styled video. It worked surprisingly well, and it’s a great way to get more creative control over your AI videos. If you’re curious how I did it step by step, definitely check out my tutorial.
