Key Takeaways:

  • How to create 99% consistent AI videos using ControlNet.
  • Step-by-step process for installing and using the TemporalNet model.
  • Expert tips for improving consistency and troubleshooting common issues.

Let’s dive into this exciting technique and get started!

Introduction

In this tutorial, I will show you a new method to create 99% consistent AI videos using a ControlNet TemporalNet model in Stable Diffusion. This method, combined with Deforum, makes it much easier to produce videos with smooth and stable results.

We’ll start by showcasing some examples comparing the previous Tokyojab technique with the new faster method in Deforum. Then, we will walk through the setup of prompts and settings to ensure your videos are as consistent as possible.

Step 1: Install the New ControlNet TemporalNet Model

To install the new TemporalNet model:

  1. Download the model files from Hugging Face (links below).
  2. Place the YAML and safe tenses files into the correct folders.
  3. Make sure the file names match and restart Stable Diffusion.

Step 2: Set Up Prompts, Settings, and ControlNet in Img2Img

After installing the model, we move to setting up the prompts and configurations in the Img2Img tab:

  • Enter your prompt and negative prompt.
  • Adjust the width to 576 and height to 1024 for a 9×16 video.
  • Set the CFG scale to 3 and denoising strength to 1.
  • Enable ControlNet with Tile and TemporalNet models to maintain consistency.

Step 3: Download and Load Deforum Settings File

To simplify the process, download the free Deforum settings file:

  1. Click the link below to download the settings file.
  2. Copy the file path and load the settings into Deforum.
  3. Make adjustments as needed for your specific video.

Step 4: Transfer Prompts and Settings to Deforum

Now that the settings are loaded, transfer the prompts and configurations from the Img2Img tab into Deforum. You can use the Margot Robbie settings file, which contains the necessary configurations for TemporalNet and other settings.

Step 5: Generate the Video

With everything set, click the “Generate” button to start creating your consistent AI video. You can adjust the cadence and alpha schedule to improve consistency and minimize flickering.

Make sure to optimize the final video using frame interpolation and upscaling tools for better quality.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can create 99% consistent AI videos using the ControlNet TemporalNet model in Stable Diffusion. This method simplifies the process while delivering high-quality results.
